Harrow Little Lions – C1 to C4 levels
Harrow Little Lions has 4 different programmes to cater the learning and development needs of children at different ages between 2 to 6 years old. Our carefully planned curriculum can help children to develop diverse learning abilities, such as cognitive ability, concentration, memorisation, communications in Chinese and English, understanding geometry and logical thinking.
Children aged 2 to 3 years old will start to think and move around independently. At Harrow Little Lions, there is a big emphasis on the prime areas of learning for children at this age group, including personal, social and emotional development, physical development and communications and language skills.
Children aged 3 – 4 years old will follow the EYFS curriculum fused with a Chinese dimension. Both morning and afternoon sessions are full of high-quality learning opportunities with the afternoon session ending with enhanced activities which include special interest clubs like drama, puppetry, gymnastics, games and construction.
Children aged 4 to 5 years old will be able to concentrate and follow teachers’ instructions to complete simple tasks. Teachers will work with parents to see if their child can become less reliant and able to control their emotions.
Children aged 5 to 6 years old will continue to follow the EYFS curriculum with additional phonic lessons to enhance their progress in reading. Towards the end of the final term children will be prepared for the transition into primary education. Tailored activities at the end of the day will continue as children are encouraged to develop their skills and interests. Children at this age are also able to develop their own network of friends with enhanced communications and social skills.
